Fantasy Football team of the week: NFL 2023 Week 16

In the wins of the Cleveland Browns over the Houston Texans (36-22) and the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Cincinnati Bengals (34-11), two wide receivers displayed the best on-field performances and highest Fantasy Football scores of the NFL Week 16.

Amari Cooper

In Sunday’s Game against the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper had the best performance of his career. He set a single-Game franchise record with 265 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches, leading the Browns to a 36-22 victory. His performance may have affected fantasy Football managers in the playoff semifinals, who either benefited from or fell victim to his dominance.

Cooper’s performance was exceptional, and he joined Hall of Famer Terrell Owens as the only receivers in NFL history to record 200-yard games for three different franchises. He made remarkable catches in the game, leaving the Texan’s defense astonished.

Cooper scored his first touchdown early in the second quarter on a 75-yard catch. In the third quarter, he scored again on a seven-yard pass from Cleveland quarterback Joe Flacco, who also played well with 370 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, marking his third straight 300-yard game.

George Pickens

George Pickens delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday during the 34-11 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. His incredible display on the field responded to the criticism he received earlier this week regarding his effort.

Pickens started strong with an 86-yard touchdown during the first half of the Game. He caught a 10-yard pass from quarterback Mason Rudolph, broke a tackle, and ran away from the Bengals’ defense. The 22-year-old continued his impressive Game in the second half with a 66-yard touchdown, catching a deep pass and running to the end zone.
