The 'LeBron James of feet' helped the LeBron James of basketball make speedy Lakers return

LeBron James return ed to the floor for the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday after a 13- Game absence, but that was hardly a guarantee based on the severity of his injury. The four-time MVP revealed Sunday that he had a torn tendon in his right foot. Typically, that is the sort of injury that would require season-ending surgery. According to James, two doctors told him that it would. So why didn't he get the surgery? "Because I went to the LeBron James of feet," James revealed. "And he told me I shouldn't." It is not exactly clear who the LeBron James of feet is, but they apparently told James that he was healing from the injury faster than anyone they've ever seen. His performance on Sunday backs up that notion. In his first Game back, James managed to play 30 minutes for the Lakers. He scored 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and three assists. Sunday was a ...

Warriors, in control of West's No. 6 seed, trying to stay out of 'dangerous' play-in tournament

When it comes to the 2023 NBA playoffs, the first order of business for the defending champion Golden State Warriors is to avoid the play-in tournament entirely. In order to do so, the Warriors will have to hold steady at the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference playoff picture, where they currently sit with a 39-36 record.  "We definitely want to stay out of the play-in tournament," Stephen Curry said after the Warriors' 120-112 win over 76ers on Friday night, via ESPN. "You never know how that can go -- a single game here or there." The Warriors know from experience just how tough the play- in tournament can be, as their season ended with a loss to Memphis in the play- in in 2021. Now, with less than 10 regular season Game s remaining, Golden State is in a precarious position. They're only a half- Game behind the Phoenix Suns for the fourth seed -- and home-court advantage in the fi...

Resident Evil Fans Want Chris And Jill To Star In The Next Mainline Game

Resident Evil 4 Remake has just arrived, bringing Leon and Ashley back for another romp around a creepy Spanish village. And while everyone is loving the double dose of nostalgia and modern graphics that the remake provides, some Resident Evil fans are already thinking ahead to the franchise’s next entry. And they want Chris and Jill to star. Over on the Resident Evil subreddit, user Laser_Disc_Hot_Dish is asking for Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine to get "back together in RE9." Last we saw Chris he was busy knocking out a certain Ethan Winters and dragging him to Europe, while Jill hasn't been seen in action since Resident Evil: Revelations. That's so long as you don't count her live-action appearances or the CG films which largely lag behind the Game s in terms of Resident Evil's timeline. NASA’s Ingenuity Helicopter Sees A Beautiful Sunset on Mars

Sunsets proÊ‹ide soмe of the мost Æ„eautiful natural imagery anywhere on Earth. People flock froм all oÊ‹er to see sunsets at specific places at specific tiмes, such as when they perfectly align down a street in Manhattan. 15 Best Things to Do in Duxbury (MA)

Image
An upscale community on the South Shore, Duxbury’s is a town that made a name for itself at the end of the Age of Sail in the early 19th century. Duxbury has a stunning public beach park, on a long crescent of sand that curves out into Cape Cod Bay for six miles. Behind the beach, the protected waters of Duxbury Bay proved to be perfect for shipbuilding, and at the turn of the 18th century the shipyards here progressed from schooners to three-masted ships. These vessels endowed local merchants with unprecedented fortunes, and you can view this wealth two centuries later at the Old Shipbuilder’s Historic District along Washington Street. The majority of the residences in this district are in the Federal style, and date from a flurry of construction. This was caused by a temporary crisis following the Embargo Act of 1807, when town’s skilled woodworkers were employed to work on houses rather than ships for a time. 1. Taylor Swift review, Arizona: On the first night of her Eras tour, Swift seems as liberated as she’s ever been

Image
US pop artist guides fans through more than a decade’s worth of her best work on the first night of her world tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale When Taylor Swift released her second album, Fearless, back in 2008, she was a bright-eyed singer-songwriter hoping to make it big in Nashville. Fifteen years later, it’s evident that she’s made it big everywhere. “I don’t know how it gets better than this,” the 33-year-old sings to a stadium of 70,000 people. Every last one of them shares the sentiment. The five years since Swift’s last tour have been among her most prolific. She’s made four additions to her “family” of albums: 2019’s Lover, 2020’s Folklore and Evermore, and 2022’s Mid night s. At the same time, she’s been busy re-recording her first six albums as part of her plan to reclaim the master recordings, following a very public battle with her former record label. Her “Eras Tour” was designed as a journey through that staggering back catalogue of 10 albums, from h...

Deuxmoi Debunked The Whack-Ass Rumour That Miley Cyrus Made Kendall Jenner Cry At A Fash Show

Image
If your TikTok algorithm is anything like mine, you would’ve seen the countless videos dissecting the rumours that Miley Cyrus made  Kendall Jenner  cry. While I was living for the tea during my morning scroll on the can, it turns out that it’s probably fake news. Bummer! In case you missed it, TikTok and Twitter have come alive with a rumour that Miley Cyrus made Kendall Jenner cry at the Versace fashion show in Los Angeles. Apparently, she didn’t like the way Kendall and her buddy Hailey Bieber were being mean girls towards Selena Gomez and wanted to call them out. Oooft. Allegedly, Miley promised to finish the take down of the mean girls at an afterparty for the Oscars. I don’t know about you but I’d be fkn legging it if I knew Miley was coming for me. She seems like the type of girlie that isn’t afraid of confrontation whereas I am completely terrified. As usual, our favourite drama-riddled star, Selena, kind of leaned in to the drama. Not long after the rumour went v...

NBA MVP race: Oddsmakers treating Giannis Antetokounmpo like the clear No. 3 and it's not really clear why

Roughly one month ago, on Feb. 16, ESPN's Tim Bontemps released his most recent MVP straw poll. That poll is the single most accurate measure of voter sentiment in the NBA, as it includes only likely voters. Unsurprisingly, given the climate at the time, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was the runaway favorite with 77 first-place votes.  In second place, just as he was in the first straw poll, was Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. He outpaced third-place Joel Embiid in both first-place votes (11 to six) and second-place votes (38 to 24). Here's what each has done in the past month, statistically, ignoring the two games Antetokounmpo left early due to injuries: Points per game Rebounds per game Assists per game Effective field goal percentage Record Joel Embiid 35.1 10.2 4.2 58.3 7-3 Giannis Antetokounmpo 32.6 10.9 6.3 58.9 5-2 If there's a meaningful gap between the two in this period, ...
