LeBron James foot injury update: Lakers star to miss at least two weeks, but absence expected to be longer

LeBron James is expected to be sidelined for at least the next two weeks after exiting the Los Angeles Lakers' comeback win against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday with a right foot injury . CBS Sports ' Bill Reiter also confirms that James could be out longer depending on where the Lakers are in the West standings after the two-week checkpoint.  It was reported shortly after the Lakers win against Dallas that there was some fear within the Lakers organization that James would miss an extended period of time due to the injury . James appeared to hurt his foot in the third quarter against the Mavericks but stayed in the Game to help complete the comeback. He scored 26 points and added eight rebounds and three assists in the victory. It was the Lakers biggest comeback in 21 years, overcoming a 27-point deficit to stun the Mavericks in Dallas, but that victory has come at the expense of losing L.A.'s m...

James Webb Telescope found galaxies that shouldn't exist

James Web Telescope has found six objects in a new image of Pandora's Cluster, expected to be six galaxies that existed 500 to 700 million years after the universe was created during the Big Bang. The objects found in space are way more massive than the expectations of scientists. As per CNN, the Telescope has "captured 50,000 sources of near-infrared light in a new image of Pandora's Cluster, a mega cluster of galaxies ." The discovery of these galaxies is questioning many of the existing theories regarding the origin of the galaxies. ‘We just discovered the impossible’ – Images from the powerful new #JWST show a small red dot that will shake up our understanding of how galaxies formed after the Big Bang. Resident Evil 4 Remake To Get A Special Demo Soon

PlayStation and Capcom has announced during the latest State of Play showcase that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be getting a special demo before launch alongside a new Game play trailer which showed off more locations, encounters, and a couple of boss fights. We didn't get a specific release date for the demo, but considering the Game launches next month, it's expected it will drop at some point in the next few weeks. As for the trailer itself, we saw a whole bunch of interesting action set pieces, including very short clips of Leon taking down two El Gigantes and the knife fight with Major Krauser. Other interesting little bits of the trailer include a section where Ashley is walking through a dark library with a lantern. The more interesting part of this segment is that Ashley seems to be playable, which is something that wasn't included in the original Game . The Illuminati Control Of Space

How the world’s governments manipulate and control information related to alleged contacts with aliens, including so-called reptilians of the Anunnaki type. Well, the American researcher William Cooper between January 1947 and December 1952, at least sixteen alien ships crashed or were shot down, of which sixty-five bodies and one survivor were recovered. Thirteen of these incidents occurred within the US borders, one in Arizona, eleven in New Mexico and one more in Nevada. Of the other three, one occurred in Norway and another in Mexico. On those dates, UFO sightings were so frequent that it was impossible to investigate each case, since the available information was very deficient. On February 13, 1948, an alien ship was found on a plateau near Aztec, New Mexico and later another, more than thirty meters in diameter, in the same area, on March 25. Cooper reports that seventeen alien bodies were found on these ships, in which a large number...

Giannis Antetokounmpo injury update: Bucks star likely to miss time with wrist sprain

Image
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo traveled to New York to undergo further testing on his injured right wrist on Monday, and the testing revealed a sprained ligament in the wrist, CBS Sports HQ's Bill Reiter confirmed. Antetokounmpo will undergo treatment on the wrist and will miss some games as he deals with the issue. However ,the injury doesn't seem like one that will put his season in jeopardy, which is obviously good news for Milwaukee.  Antetokounmpo injured his wrist in Milwaukee's final Game prior to the All-Star break. Early in the second quarter of the contest against the Chicago Bulls, Antetokounmpo went to contest a layup by Coby White and took an awkward stumble around the basket stanchion. As he fell, he put his right arm out to brace himself and his wrist got jammed. He appeared to be in serious pain in the initial aftermath and did not even attempt to stay in the Game . After...

Russell Westbrook signs with Clippers: Former MVP lands back in L.A. after Lakers trade

Former NBA MVP Russell Westbrook plans to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers once he finalizes a buyout with the Utah Jazz, CBS Sports HQ's Bill Reiter confirmed Monday. Westbrook was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Jazz as part of a three-team deal ahead of the trade deadline earlier this month. In 52 Game s for the Lakers this season, the majority of them off the bench, Westbrook averaged 15.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 7.5 assists per Game . But while his counting stats were still solid, his defense, inefficient shooting (41.7 percent from the field, 29.6 percent from 3-point land) and poor fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis were once again a problem for the Lakers. There was also the fact that James was publicly lobbying for the team to trade him, which did not help the vibes in the locker room.  But despite some of Westbrook's issues with the Lakers, and his declining play in recent y...

2023 NBA All-Star Game Mock Draft: Predicting how LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo pick rosters on Sunday

LeBron James is currently on one of the great random streaks in the History of Sports . The NBA introduced an All-Star Draft as an alternative to its old East vs. West format six years ago. James has been elected a captain in each of those six seasons. In the first five, the team he drafted ultimately won the Game . This season, he'll look to move to 6-0. Standing in his way is Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who drafted against James and lost in both 2019 and 2020. Now he's hoping the third time will be the charm, so in order to attempt to predict how the two captains who act when All-Star Sunday arrives, CBS Sports is holding a mock All-Star Draft. Representing James will be resident Lakers expert Sam Quinn, and representing Antetokounmpo will be Milwaukee maven Jack Maloney. James, as the leading overall vote-getter, will pick first on the starters. Antetokounmpo will pick first with re...

The time a UFO “as big as a football field” flew over Gran Canaria

Image
A huge figure, capable of covering an entire football field, swayed through the airport without making a sound, gliding calmly as if it were a simple sheet of paper. The subject of UFOs seems to be back, causing curiosity among the people and generating discussion in parliaments and coffee shops. This catches my attention because interest in these old unknowns has been revived so quickly. With a skeptical character, I wonder why the subject of UFOs is receiving so much attention at the moment, if this topic has not been given special importance for many decades. I cannot hide my excitement to see how now NASA and the Pentagon are collaborating to carry out various studies on the matter and meanwhile, the British Ministry of Defense declassified several photos that had previously been denounced as part of a conspiracy theory. The dissemination of issues related to the Military field receives a great boost thanks to the awareness of the relevanc...

Microsoft admits Bing cannot conduct long chat sessions

After news of insulting users, there were more reports regarding the inefficiency of the AI-powered Bing search engine. Read:  Instagram rolls out broadcast chat feature 'Channels' In a statement released by Microsoft, the tech giant admitted that "very long chat sessions can confuse the model on what questions it is answering". To work on this, the tech giant is considering adding a tool that can more easily refresh the context or allow the user to start a new conversation altogether. There were also some comments regarding the tone of the model. Reasoning to that, Microsoft added, "The model at times tries to respond or reflect in the tone in which it is being asked to provide responses that can lead to a style we didn't intend." As per Microsoft, the team is consistently working on improving the AI-powered Bing. The company tests the model in 169 countries to get the best feedback.
